(This is currently reflected in the mouseover tooltip for intellect on your character sheet, which specifies "sepll critical strike." The mouseover tooltip for agility only specifies "critical strike," but improved agility does not presently improve your critical strike chance with spells.) Check your talents -- though some talents (like Paladin's Conviction) now help with both spell and melee crit, not all crit talents are multi-faceted!

You can buy these on the auction house, but since jewelcrafting is the only new profession in Burning Crusade, you can expect that many of these materials will be at an inflated price for a while as everyone and their brother attempts to try out the new tradeskill. Best to farm the materials yourself.

The Outland is the biggest draw of the Burning Crusade. It's a ruined portion of the world of Draenor which was destroyed as Ner'zhul opened numerous portals on its surface to other worlds. This did damage to the remnant of a once-whole planet drifts through space, much diminished but no less dangerous.Regarding the events between WOW Gold game and the Burning Crusade expansion, the Dark Portal, which had sat inert in the Blasted lands, has been opened and is able to bringing souls between Azeroth and Outland once more.
